Biomedical engineering is a combination of engineering skills and medical consideration, which is continually attracting attention for its ethnic complexity. Because the biomedical technologies are aiming to be applied on human body, nobody can take the responsibility of a life if the technology fails. As the question is doubting if the biomedical engineers should attempt to enhance the human body, i play a positive altitude towards the attempts of those engineers on their giant achievements in human medical area with thousands of people who should have died but still be alive.

Even though every biomedical engineer is taking the risk to be the next murderer, their efforts still play an important role on the medical treatment field during the human history. We can look back to the ancient time and try to point out the most important things which accelerate the human history. Many historians have figured out that it is the development of medical treatment level which changed the human civilization into a new height. Enhancing human body has never stopped during the long time history not only because people want to live longer but also it is a will from our desire for living. In addition, as mentioned in the material, all the things the biomedical engineers work on are targeting the technologies instead of patients, which means they are impelling the development of methods to save lives instead of killing them. Maybe there are some people dead from the experiments, but the way to choose volunteers is going to be smarter. The whole world is tending to care more about human rights. We can expect more from the engineers on avoiding death in experiments in the future. Possibly they still cannot do experiments with no death, but the death is under control while the benefit will be unlimited.
